Latest COVID-19 Updates
July 2, 2020 - As positive COVID-19 cases continue to grow across Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott has issued an executive order for Texans to wear masks in public. Failure to follow the order may result in a fine of up to $250. Exceptions include:
Children under 10.
While in church.
While eating or drinking at a restaurant.
While exercising outdoors.
While driving alone or with other members of the same household.
While swimming in a pool, lake or other body of water.
June 26, 2020 - In response to a growing amount of cases of COVID-19 in Texas, Gov. Abbott has issued a new executive order that closes bars throughout the state and orders restaurants to operate at 50% capacity for dine-in services. Outdoor gatherings of 100 or more must be approved by local governments, with some exceptions.
